Got a super cheap flight that came in late(11PM) and needed only one night in the city. The staff Jackson was amazing. There was a big party downstairs as you would expect with young travellers having a drink on a saturday night. And a bit loud outside CBD Melbs Saturday night which is the norm. If you don't bring earplugs into a dorm hostel, I don't know what to tell you. But my four bed dorm were with 3 young gentlemen who were polite and quiet. Room and bathroom were unbelievably clean for a big dormy hostel.

Look I needed a bed for the night last min some one els booked it for me but I have special needs and they did it though a exterior site and I would have called to make sure that I could be catered for, however when the establishment were made aware they made it work, they made everything better than could be expected. The bed was warm and in a darkened room and I slept no kidding for 12 straight hrs! Thanks

That place is very worth staying in. It is not for flashpackers, but for the rest of us it has everything we need, even free tea with milk to put in it. It is very central to the city and around a 5 minute walk from the train and coach station. There is an ALDI supermarket around a 15 minute walk from the hostel. Those seem to be in every town in Australia and are great for helping to stay within the budget.

Mary

the place is very well located, free breakfast included! You have the free trams and southern station just 3 min walking. The staff was very friendly and well informed, you can meet other travellers easily in the hangout areas or in the kitchen. Overall I had a great stay to enjoy the city.

Eventhough reception wasn't 24hours, I was still able to checkin after hours with the access codes given to me for front door and for my room. The bathroom was clean the first night and they had all the facilities and amenities as mentioned.
